Café Paris Steak Butter

We guarantee you will not find this butter anywhere else in the U.S.

Decades ago, a chef created something that was never meant to leave the kitchen. A butter so complex, so alive with flavor, that guests begged for the recipe — and were politely, lovingly refused. It passed from chef to chef like a whispered confession, refined with each pair of hands, until it found its way to you.

This is not a simple butter. It is a composition — over twenty ingredients folded into every golden roll, including wine, eggs, and a myriad of fresh herbs and spices that no single bite can fully decode. Slide a slice onto your hot steak and watch it melt into something closer to a glaze than a melted butter: caramelized at the edges, deep and savory at the center, and finished with an herbal whisper that lingers long after the last bite. Your guests will ask what you did differently. You'll smile and say nothing.

You don't have to stop at steak. Brighten up your green beans in a sauté pan. Top your baked potato or mount your sauce. But, don't tell anyone what you did.
